Kalamata Extra Virgin Olive Oil produced exclusively from Koroneiki variety olives which are grown, harvested & pressed within the Messinia prefecture in the Peloponnese region in Southern Greece. Kalamata is the capital town of Messinia, a fertile land full of olive groves with a climate that produces one of the finest extra virgin olive oils in the world. Deep green color, strong peppery aftertaste (which is a characteristic of high quality olive oil) and subtle notes of fresh olives, almonds and citrus fruits.
